Penggunaan Chatgpt Di Era Society 5.0 (Studi Kasus Pada Mahasiswa STABN Sriwijaya)

Abstract
The problem raised in this study is the improper utilization of ChatGPT technology and the occurrence of cases of ChatGPT use by students in completing their final assignments. The main purpose of the research is to reveal and describe holistically the occurrence of cases of using ChatGPT by unscrupulous STABN Sriwijaya students. The type of approach used in this research is qualitative with a case study method. Data collection techniques were carried out by means of observation, interviews and documentation. The research subjects were informants who were selected using purposive sampling technique, namely sampling based on the criteria or requirements set by the researcher. Informants in the study were lecturers and students of STABN Sriwijaya. The data analysis technique uses the Miles and Huberman model. The results of this study indicate that the use of ChatGPT technology by students violates the rules of scientific work and ignores the values of academic integrity. Students use ChatGPT influenced by environmental factors such as friends, social media, and do not know the academic regulations that specifically regulate the use of AI technology. Academic rules or regulations on campus have not explicitly included or attached regulations regarding the use of IA technology, but there are only a few regulations that read about plagiarism and sanctions for violators of integrity as academics. Explicitly that on the STABN Sriwijaya campus it becomes very urgent to immediately revise, evaluate, discuss, and make clear regulations regarding the use of AI technology such as ChatGPT and the like. It is intended that the campus can be a place for all academicians to develop and hone their abilities in accordance with the national ideals stated in Law Number 20 of 2003 concerning the National Education System.
