Pengaruh Dimensi Komunikasi Interpersonal Terhadap Keterampilan Sosial Guru Sekolah Di Desa Dangdang Kecamatan Cisauk Kabupaten Tangerang Provinsi Banten

Abstract


Teachers play a vital role in the world of education, and therefore must possess excellent interpersonal communication and social skills to create a quality generation. Social skills significantly influence teachers' success in carrying out their duties, establishing harmonious relationships with students, parents, and colleagues, and creating a positive learning environment that motivates students. This study aims to examine the influence of interpersonal communication dimensions on the social skills of school teachers in Dangdang Village, Cisauk District, Tangerang Regency, Banten Province. This study employed a quantitative approach, survey method, and multiple linear regression analysis techniques involving 60 teachers as respondents. The prerequisite test results indicated that the data were normally distributed, the relationship between variables was linear, and there was no autocorrelation or multicollinearity in the resulting regression model. The results indicated that there was no significant influence of the dimensions of openness, empathy, and equality on the social skills of school teachers in Dangdang Village, Cisauk District, Tangerang Regency, Banten Province. Then, the research results also showed that there was a significant influence of the dimensions of supportive attitudes and positive attitudes on the social skills of school teachers in Dangdang Village, Cisauk District, Tangerang Regency, Banten Province.
